INTRODUCTION
THASA
has carried out a number of non conventional jobs seeking to satisfy the
customer´s needs.
For this purpose special devices adapted to each application have
been designed.
An
example is shown in the picture on the right where a diver is seen
descending into a conduit with a petroleum-water waste mixture carrying a
gammagraphic plate. In this case the customer required a study of the reinforcement in
the concrete walls of this conduit. A special procedure was implemented to allow the diver locate the
plate in the specified positions on the inside of the walls.
